- The deadline for dollar for dollar government matching of donations Syria Emergency Relief has been extended to Feb. 29, 2016. Cheques designated for Syria Relief from United Church individuals and congregations will need to be dated Feb. 29 or earlier, and received at the General Council office no later than Mar. 7 to be eligible for the government match.
- World Day of Prayer Service: Fri. Mar. 4 at Emmanuel, 7 pm
- Meditation Night: Mon. Mar. 7 at Trinity, 7 pm
- Sun. Mar. 13 at 7 pm at Trinity: Enjoy the music of Jon McLurg and Chris Murphy. Refreshments will be served and a freewill offering will be taken for our Mission & Service projects.
- Proclamation: Trinity is hosting a 2 day Reading of the Gospels and Acts on Mar. 18 and 19. The scriptures are divided into blocks and each start at a specified time. There will be a luncheon on Saturday to be shared by participants. Please let me know if you would be interested in reading (individual or groups) and/or helping with host/hostess duties. Time slots will be filled on a first come, first serve basis. Please feel free to come and listen at anytime. Why? Because: "All scripture is inspired by God and is useful for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness, so that everyone who belongs to God may be proficient, equipped for every good work.
